VW Audi Group Suspension - Melksham

At Audi VW Centre, we inspect, diagnose, and repair suspension systems across a wide range of vehicles, including performance variants and air suspension systems.

A well-maintained suspension system keeps your vehicle stable, comfortable, and safe. When components wear or fail, the effects are felt throughout the car – in the ride quality, the handling, the tyre wear, and ultimately the safety of the vehicle. It’s an area where early attention pays off.

Signs your suspension needs attention:

• A bouncy, unsettled ride over uneven surfaces
• Knocking, clunking, or rattling from underneath the vehicle
• The car pulling to one side or feeling unstable at speed
• Uneven or accelerated tyre wear
• The vehicle sitting visibly lower on one corner
• A failing or warning light related to the air suspension system

What we cover

• Shock absorber and strut replacement
• Spring replacement
• Wishbone, control arm, and bush replacement
• Anti-roll bar and drop link replacement
• Air suspension fault diagnosis and repair
• Wheel bearing inspection and replacement
• Full suspension geometry check using Hunter 3D alignment equipment

Suspension work and wheel alignment go hand in hand. Following any significant suspension repair, we carry out an alignment check to make sure the vehicle’s geometry is correct – because worn components affect alignment, and new components fitted to an unchecked geometry won’t perform as they should.

Audi VW Centre is a member of the IMI and the 1Tec Auto Hub network, giving you the reassurance of working with a garage that meets recognised industry standards and has access to the latest diagnostic technology and technical training.
