VW Audi Group Automatic Gearbox Servicing - Melksham

Automatic gearboxes require regular maintenance to stay smooth, responsive, and reliable. Over time, transmission fluid degrades, affecting performance and increasing wear. At Audi VW Centre, we carry out automatic gearbox servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines. This typically involves fluid replacement, filter changes where applicable, and system checks.

Ignoring servicing can lead to costly repairs later on but regular maintenance helps extend gearbox life and maintain smooth operation. Drivers often notice symptoms such as delayed gear changes, slipping, or hesitation and these are early signs that servicing may be overdue.

We use the correct specification fluids for each vehicle, ensuring compatibility and long-term protection. Where required, advanced diagnostics are used to assess gearbox performance and identify any underlying issues, and if more complex faults are present, we provide a clear assessment and discuss the next steps before proceeding.

Our approach focuses on accuracy and transparency so you’ll know exactly what your vehicle needs and why it matters.

Automatic transmissions are sophisticated systems, but with proper care at Audi VW Centre in Melksham, they can remain reliable for many years.

Audi VW Centre is a member of the IMI and the 1Tec Auto Hub network, giving you the reassurance of working with a garage that meets recognised industry standards and has access to the latest diagnostic technology and technical training.
